Homoeopathy is a system of medicine that improves the person's health by giving special treatments that are tailor-made for the person, and that provide deep corrections to the body and mind to treat illness and to maximise health.
Homoeopathy is used for the whole range of medical and psychological conditions in children and adults, as well as for treating general poor health.
The first Homoeopathic appointment involves a full assessment and medical check-up. The treatment programme then is for a further visit every 3 weeks until the patient is well, and then at longer intervals.
The health check-up is an opportunity for a well person to have a full medical check-up. It is designed for people who are in good health, or who have only minor problems or problems with stress. If there are minor problems, or the early stages of an illness, a Homoeopathic remedy is given if appropriate.
Flower essences are prescribed for general well-being and to give an extra boost to health. After this the person can enrol in the Stay Well Programme, to maintain health, or a Full Health Check-Up can be repeated annually.
People who have had Homoeopathic treatment are now well, or have had a Health Check-Up can enrol in the Stay Well Programme. For this there is a regular visit every 6-12 months, in order to stay in optimum health. If there are minor problems or the early stages of an illness, a Homoeopathic remedy is given if appropriate. Flower Essences are prescribed for general well-being and to give an extra boost to health.
People who live outside Christchurch can use the Mail Order Service. It is best to have a full medical check-up at the start of the treatment, but if this is not possible, the person fills in a questionnaire, and attends their own doctor for a medical check-up. Patients report regularly my mail or phone, and Homoeopathic remedies are posted or sent by courier.
For people with recent injuries, short appointments are given for specific injury treatment, partly covered by ACC.
First aid appointments are to help people gain a knowledge about the First Aid use of Homoeopathy, and to help them in choosing a remedy for themselves.
They include information about Homoeopathy and its first aid use, explanation of First Aid pamphlets and demonstration of the First Aid Kit.
Smoke-free Forever programme is the homoeobotanical programme which really works. This combines the use of specifically developed Homoeobotanical remedy called SMOKESTOP, and a counselling session with deep relaxation which reinforces the desire to stop smoking. A cassette tape is given to the person to use at home. Only one appointment is necessary for this programme.
